Once upon a time! – Однажды!
Last week my grandmother and I were at the zoo. We walked around and looked at all the animals. My grandmother loves birds, so we stopped to look at the parrots. Suddenly, someone shouted: «STOP, THIEF!» We were very surprised. We turned around, but there was no one there, just the zookeeper! «Don’t worry!» he laughed. «It was just Chatterbox the parrot. She does that all the time!» It was very funny!
На прошлой неделе мы с бабушкой были в зоопарке. Мы гуляли и рассматривали всех зверей. Бабушка любит птиц, поэтому мы остановились, чтобы посмотреть на попугаев. Вдруг кто‑то закричал: «СТОЙ, ВОР!» Мы очень удивились. Обернулись, а там никого нет – только смотритель зоопарка. «Не волнуйтесь, – засмеялся он. – Это попугай по кличке Болтушка. Она всё время так делает!» Было очень смешно!
